Unmatched expertise Tailored to your needs
Scott Rousso began working in the stockroom and installation division of Roger Sound Lab as a college student in the early 1990’s. His field of study was Fine Art yet he was drawn to exciting technological breakthroughs of the time: laserdiscs and vhs were succumbing to the DVD player and the very real possibility of home theater for everyone.
After a few years of local apprenticeship at some of the most prestigious AV firms in the world, he struck out on his own, instantly creating audio and video environments that keep the integrity of home design whilst integrating audio, video, lighting and climate control, and security into an easy and reliable aspect of daily living.
Sound Decision began under the moniker Vox Com, and Scott’s work found its place amongst the most innovative in the country, nationally published under both names and winning the Bronze medal for “Best Media Room” in 2006 from Electronic House Magazine.
Our clients have ranged from Alanis Morisette (1999) , George Clooney’s remodeled screening room; the chairman of Disney International, Andy Bird; Ignited ( Boardroom),( marketing for the US Army, Sony, Nike) All the Border Grill, Ciudad and Street restaurants including the flagship at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. A walk through our Los Angeles showroom will give and idea of all we can create. Among many lines of product, Sound Decision is a dealer of both Crestron and Control 4 automation products, providing an excellent range of features satisfying any budget.
All system programming is done ”in house” by Scott and lead tech, Frank Franco, and not sub-contracted.
Sound Decision holds a C-10 license while most competitors carry only a C-7, better enabling us to handle lighting control systems.
