Project Overview

Descanso LA utilized an 8-zone multiroom audio system built around a Symetrix DSP processor, paired with Blaze Audio and LEA Professional Connect amplifiers.

For the speaker system, Sound Decision featured a combination of Sonance Commercial pendant speaker arrays, pendant subwoofers, surface-mount speakers, and in-ceiling commercial speakers, all selected from the Sonance Commercial collection.

Users can control source selection and volume independently by zone using wall-mounted controllers or from their mobile devices. The system also includes a front-of-house XLR input to accommodate DJs and small live performances.

The equipment was housed in a vent cooled cabinet behind the Host Station.
